It’s a couple of kilometer to Gunung Sari, the location of a vibrant, daily morning market selling every variety of produce and goods Lombok offers. Gunung Sari also is a home of bamboo handicraft.
From here the roads climbs up through the forest to the Pusuk Pass and hordes of native monkeys. Then it’s 10 km down to the plains and the village of Pemenang. Welcome to the North Lombok Region.
